This study gathers data on over 500 firms operating within the carpentry sector in Uganda, encompassing information related to capital and labour allocation, productivity, production processes, among other critical variables for understanding the opportunities and challenges that these firms face across Uganda. Results from this data were presented at a roundtable with key stakeholders from the Ugandan carpentry sector. The following document outlines relevant takeaways from the roundtable and subsequent policy recommendations.
