Adnan Khan is the Chief Economist and Director for Economics and Evaluation Directorate in the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. He is seconded from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he is Professor in Practice in the School of Public Policy. His areas of interest include economic development and state capacity, political economy and state fragility, and public finance. Adnan holds a PhD in Economics from Queen’s University.
