Sarah Pogrund

Sarah is a Research Officer at CEPR based in the London office and supports in the management and administration of the STEG programme. She organises and runs funding call evaluations, monitors project progress and manages STEG research dissemination.

She holds a Masters Degree in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford as well as an Undergraduate Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) from the University of Cape Town.  Prior to joining STEG, Sarah worked in Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR) consulting. She also has experience in economic policy research for REEP (Research Unit for the Economics of Excisable products) and social impact reporting for a sub-Saharan African fintech company. She enjoys being part of an international team at CEPR, and appreciates engaging with a variety of development economics research and researchers on a daily basis through STEG.
