As Senior Research Officer at the Centre for Economic Policy Research, Ed aids in the management and administration of the STEG programme and is responsible for the organisation and evaluation of funding calls, the evaluation of projects' progress, and the dissemination of STEG research.
Previously, Ed worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford for two projects based in Uganda examining how gender norms constrain female business owners and how the COVID-19 lockdown has impacted the economic status and well-being of rural households. Prior to this, Ed completed his MSc in Economics for Development at the University of Oxford.
