John Firth is a member of the Notre Dame Team and an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame. His research interests lie in development economics, trade, and political economy with work on transportation regulatory policy and its impact on within country trade. Ongoing projects focus on infrastructure policy, foreign bribery laws, and productivity in non-profit organisations. John holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
