Lucas Zavala is an Economist in the Development Impact Evaluation Unit of the Development Research Group at the World Bank. He studies competition in global value chains: how it is measured, how it is shaped by policy, and how it shapes the lives of firms and individuals in emerging economies. Lucas received his PhD in Economics from Yale University.
