Maria Alejandra Orjuela Pava is a Country Economist at IGC Uganda. She holds an MSc in Economics, and a BSc in Economics with a minor in Management from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. Prior to her role at the IGC, Maria worked as a Research Assistant at Bocconi University in SAIM international project, where she focused on causal inference and innovation management. Her interests reside in development economics, environmental and climate change, foreign policy research, and impact evaluation for sustainable growth.
