Nathaniel Lane is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford. He studies comparative economic development, focusing on the role of politics, history and the state with a particular interest in industrial policy. Nathaniel gained a PhD in Economics from the Institute for International Economic Studies at Stockholm University.
