Stephen J. Redding is the Harold T. Shapiro *64 Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics and School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He is also the Director, of the International Trade and Investment Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Co-Director of the Griswold Center for Economic Policy Studies at Princeton University. His research interests are in international trade and economic geography, and productivity and economic development. Stephen holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Oxford.
