Aditi Sengupta

Aditi is the STEG Research Officer at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). She manages the research aspects of the STEG Programme, including the evaluation of research proposals and the assessment of the scientific contributions of funded projects. Her responsibilities include overseeing the impact of PhD, Small, and Large Research Grants, tracking the research progress of STEG grantees, and disseminating and promoting the results of funded projects to both academic and broader audiences.

Aditi has prior experience in economic research from policy-oriented think tanks and academic institutions. She holds an M.Sc. in Economics with a specialisation in Development Economics from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and an M.Res. in Analysis and Policy in Economics (APE) from the Paris School of Economics. Her Master’s thesis was an applied-theory study that analysed how inter- and intra-generational, as well as regional, inequalities are influenced by the transition from brown to green energy sources. She also holds a B.Sc. in Economics (Honours) from Symbiosis School of Economics, India.
