Ariane Salem is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Groupe d'Analyse et de Théorie Economique (GATE) at the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon. Her research interests are in economic history, political economy, development, agriculture, and resource economics. Ariane holds a PhD in Political Economy from the University of Geneva.
