Christian Lippitsch is a Senior Country Economist at the International Growth Centre (IGC) based in Rwanda. Christian's work focuses on firm productivity, supply chains, international trade, and climate change. Before, Christian was a postdoctoral fellow in economics at the University of Edinburgh. In addition to his interest in firms and trade, Christian has worked at the intersection of development and macroeconomics, with a particular interest in agricultural productivity and the role of climate change. Christian is also interested in determinants of structural change, the role of formality in labour markets and many other things.
