Diego Restuccia is a Professor of Economics and a Canada Research Chair in Macroeconomics and Productivity in the Department of Economics at the University of Toronto, a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and a Research Director, of the Macroeconomic Development Group at the Research Institute for Development, Growth, and Economics (RIDGE). His research work focuses on macroeconomic development, in particular, the role of the allocation of economic factors such as capital and labour across heterogeneous production units or sectors in accounting for aggregate outcomes. Diego received his PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
