George Alessandria is a Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at the University of Rochester. He specialises in the fields of international trade and macroeconomics and his current research focuses on understanding the role of international trade and trade policy in the propagation of business cycles. He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
