Kaushik Basu

Kaushik Basu is a Professor of Economics and Carl Marks Professor of International Studies in the Department of Economics at Cornell University. From 2012 to 2016 he was the Chief Economist of the World Bank. He has published extensively in development economics, game theory, welfare economics, and industrial organisation. Kaushik received his PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science
