Marco Sanfilippo is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics and Statistics at the University of Turin. He is also an Affiliate at the Collegio Carlo Alberto, an Associate Research Fellow in Globalisation and Development at the Institute of Development Policy, University of Antwerp, and a Programme Associate and Visiting Researcher with the Global Governance Programme at the European University Institute. His work seeks to understand the drivers of private sector development in low-income countries using firm- and individual level-data. Marco holds a PhD in Development Economics from the University of Florence.
