Martin Shu is PhD Candidate in Economics in the Department of Economics at Boston University. His research interests lie at the intersection of macroeconomics and economic development. Before starting the PhD programme, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics and his Master’s in Economics, both from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
