Matthew E. Kahn is a Provost Professor of Economics and Spatial Sciences in the Spatial Sciences Institute at the University of Southern California. He is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and a Research Fellow at IZA. He serves as the Director of the Health Markets Initiative at the Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics at USC. His research focuses on urban and environmental economics. Matthew holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago.
