Nathan Nunn is the Frederic E. Abbe Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at Harvard University. He is also currently an editor at the Quarterly Journal of Economics. His research centres around political economy, economic history, economic development, cultural economics, and international trade. His current work lies in better understanding the importance of local culture and context for economic policies, particularly in developing countries. Nathan holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Toronto.
