Earlier in January, STEG hosted it’s fourth Annual Conference and Thematic Workshops in-person in Abu Dhabi and Barcelona! We're thrilled to announce that the recordings of all sessions are now available online, allowing you to revisit the insights and key takeaways at your own pace.

Over 6 packed days, we heard 54 presentations on some of the latest research taking place in these fields. For the first time ever, we held our theme workshops in-person. The conference and workshops helped to demonstrate the breadth and quality of recent and ongoing work around structural change, and the various opportunities and challenges there are still to explore.

Plenary Day 1 
Day one of our two-day plenary session brought together an exciting array of recent research. Yaw Nyarko also gave a lecture on Technology and Development, in honour of Berthold Herren Dorf.

Plenary Day 2 
Day two of the plenary session continued to highlight the diversity of research in the field and disseminate some of the excellent research currently being funded by STEG. The Robert E. Lucas, Jr. STEG Keynote Lecture titled ”Industrial Policy: Some Theory and Evidence" was presented by Yongseok Shin.
